A Chosen Generation

A Chosen Generation was the theme @ Young Adult Retreat this past weekend. This was my first year going and I had such a blast.

God was so present and he spoke through his servants Jason and Joy. Their messages were just what I needed to hear. I am so thankful that I serve a RISEN LORD!!!! When we are the weakest, HE is the strongest and our stronghold.

I have to say my favorite part of the weekend was getting to fellowship with Lindsay, Elisa, and Candace. When we were younger we all went to Conservatory together and along with some other girls formed a group called "The Angels" This weekend was the first time that the 4 of us had been together and actually spent quality time together. It was so great. I love you girls.

God has given me a burden to carry -- it's not a bad burden, but nevertheless, it's a burden. And I am going to be faithful to pray for this burden everday for as long as I live. God is amazing and he will prevail in all cases.

My calling was confirmed and I know that eventually I will become an Officer in The Salvation Army. I know that God will be with me and will give me the desires of my heart.
