First Week in Mexico

Alright, so my frist week was alright. I really do miss home and I cannot wait to get back, pero me encanta Mexico. Mi escuela es muy amable. --Translation but i love Mexico, my school is really nice.

My teachers are great. I could not ask for more qualified teachers than the ones I have now. Everyday, I have 2 hours of grammar class, and an hour of converscacion. Those are my 3 hours in the afternoon. In the morning, I Have my class with Dra. Lee, LatinAmerican Civilizaion and Culture. WHOA, that is a really hard one. My next hour is with Lupíta, who teaches grammar that is easy to confuse, her goal is to help us understand when and why to use the grammar the specific way. The next hour changes everyday it is the culture hour: dance class, cooking class, converscacion, painting, singing or what ever culture class the director thinks we need that day. it is soo much fun..

Saturday, I went to this place called Tepolzan, it was great. We were suppose to hike up a mountain to a pyarmid, but i did not make it cause of my fear of heights, so i went as far as i could then went back down into the town and did some serious SHOPPING, YAYAY!!!

Sunday we went to Mexico City - we visited the Palacio Nacioinal, el Cathedral where the arch-bishop was conducting mass, so we got to see him and it was televised how cool was that.....then we went shopping in the mercado that was open, again YAYAY for shopping......then we went to the museum of anthropology and that was totally interesting, but i wish we would have had more time there.... next we went to this place which is like the Venice of MExico, i think it is spelled like this Xochomilo we went for a boat ride and half the students got tore up it was really funny--- during this time i got to talk with Dra. Lee about class, her family, and other fun stuff...needless to say we were a few of the sober ones. We got home around 9:30 ate dinner. BIanca and I decided to stay up talking it was good for me


While I have been here I have had to deal with the anniversary of Innies death and some other things and it has been hard, but i am making it thru alright.....
